Cause I care about:

In the United States especially, and around the world, young people are not taught basics about handling their money. American young people often start their working lives racked in student-loan debt with no clear idea about how they will get out of it.

I believe we need to tame the amounts of debt that students must take to get an education, and education must include achieving standards of financial literarcy. According to the OECD, many adults struggle with basic concepts like calculating simple and compound interest, or budgeting.

In my opinion, it’s a crime against young people and future generations if the only way to get an education is to acquire it with obscene amounts of debt.
